LAKE CHARLES, La— The City of Lake Charles Mayor’s Armed Forces Commission will host a “National Vietnam War Veterans Day” event on Saturday, March 29, at 10 a.m., inside the Lake Charles Event Center Coliseum. At the conclusion of the event, the brand-new Louisiana Vietnam Veterans Memorial will be unveiled to the public.
The event is being held to honor United States Armed Forces Vietnam War Veterans. Guest speakers include Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary Charlton J.
