On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, City officials gathered at Huber Park to present preliminary designs for several park upgrade projects to the public.
Images released included upgrades for Buddy Prejean, JD Clifton, Columbus Circle and Huber Parks. A sample of the upgrades include, but are not limited to, a putting greens course and botanical garden at JD Clifton Park, ballfield enhancements at Buddy Prejean Park, Boys and Girls Club expansion for Columbus Circle Park, and additional parking at Huber Park.
All of the projects unveiled today are entering the final design phase with construction set to get underway within the 2025 calendar year. Questions or feedback can be email to parks@cityoflc.us.
