Utilities Division
The City of Lake Charles Utilities Division would like to thank residents for their water conservation efforts through this severe weather event and ask for their continued support through the overnight hours of Wednesday, January 22, 2025, and Thursday, January 23, 2025. If residents are home, with their heat running, their normal daily water use will be sufficient to prevent pipes from freezing. Residents are asked to shut off dripping faucets to allow for time for the City’s system to catch up with the increased demand created by faucets dripping systemwide.
