The successful Movies with the Mayor Series is set to make a holiday season return on Saturday, December 21, at Rosa Hart Theatre, 900 Lakeshore Dr. 

Presented by Children’s Miracle Network, the afternoon will get underway with Cookies, Cocoa and More at 4 p.m. on the Second Floor Mezzanine. 

The feature presentation, The Muppet Christmas Carol, will begin at 5 p.m. in the Rosa Hart Theatre. 

As part of Cookies, Cocoa and More, a Hot Cocoa Bar with all the fixings will be provided by The Village Coffeehouse and a live musical performance from the AM Barbe High School String Orchestra will take place. 

JD Bank will be bringing Santa and few special helpers who will be available for photos! 

A reading nook from the Calcasieu Parish Public Library, a coloring station from Families for Inclusion, and books from JD Bank will make this a must-attend event. A selfie station will even be available thanks to the CHRISTUS Ochsner SWLA Foundation! 

Movies with the Mayor and Cookies, Cocoa and More are free and open to the public.  

Concessions will be available for purchase during the feature presentation. An adult must accompany all minors.
