On Wednesday, October 23, the Lake Charles Fire Department (LCFD) and City of Lake Charles are hosting a Community Meeting from 5:30-6:30 pm at Bellard Recreation Center (2808 Hillcrest Dr.).

The meeting will be an opportunity for residents to learn more about plans for the Lake Charles Fire Department Campus coming soon to 1017 6th Ave.

LCFD personnel will also be on hand to share important fire safety and prevention information.
