On Tuesday, October 22, the City of Lake Charles and the Southwest Louisiana Arts & Humanities Council will host Love your City: Connect and Lead – How We Build Communities. This free Ted-talk Style event will take place at Central School (809 Kirby Street) in the Benjamin Mount Theatre. A social will be held from 5:30-6:30 pm and the talk will take place from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Love Your City originally launched in March of 2019, and we are thrilled to bring it back online in 2024 as part of our LC Launch Small Business Week Series of events,” said Mayor Nic Hunter. “It is our hope that the Love your City series will open the door to bigger conversations on ideas and opportunities to make our City the best it can be.”

Love your City is the City’s very own talk series featuring presenters from various industries, professions and walks of life who graciously agree to share their stories, ideas and perspectives.

Admission is free, but seating is limited to the first 200 attendees.
