The City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative is teaming up with numerous partners for a Junior First Responders Day on Saturday, July 13, from 9 – 11 am, at Hillcrest Park (2808 Hillcrest Dr.).

This indoor/outdoor event will feature interactive activities and static displays from the Lake Charles Fire Department (LCFD), Lake Charles Police Department (LCPD), Louisiana State Police Troop D, Acadian Ambulance, American Red Cross and the Calcasieu Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. 

Activities will focus on a variety of safety-related matters and will feature demonstrations from K-9 Rook, LCFD’s Arson Dog. 

Additional partners in this event include Lake Charles Coca-Cola.
