The City of Lake Charles is inviting the community to help support the Lake Charles Salvation Army by participating in a Community Hygiene Products Drive.

New and unused items being accepted include shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, lotion, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, hair brushes and combs, feminine hygiene products, toothbrushes and toothpaste.

During the month of July, the community can drop off donations to Lake Charles City Hall (326 Pujo St.) and Historic City Hall (1001 Ryan St.) during regular business hours.

All donations collected will be provided to the Lake Charles Salvation Army who will distribute the items to those in need throughout the community.
