Kirkman & Opelousas Intersection Modifications and Reconstruction
Cost Estimate: $855,000.00 Scope of Work: Provide concrete repairs to the existing streets and draiange inlets at the intersection of N. Kirkman St. and Opelousas St. Construction of new roadway consisting of removal of roadway pavement, damaged or non ADA compliant sidewalk pavement, and draiange improvements required to construct this damaged intersection. -
Ham Reid Road Utility Extension
Cost Estimate: $1,085,300.00 Scope of Work: Water line looping on the north side of the proposed Ham Reid road extension between Big Lake Highway and Elliot Road, and the installation of various sewer line crossings along the Ham Reid Road Extension Route. -
SE WTP Distribution System - South Park Drive Waterline Extension (E.Gauthier Rd. to Red David McCollister Rd.)

Cost Estimate: $1,364,000 Scope of Work: Installation of approximately 6,600 ft. of 20/24-inch water main on Highway 14 North from Gerstner Memorial Blvd to East McNeese Street. -
Downtown Streetscape Phase II - Bilbo St between Division St & Mill St
Cost Estimate: $500,000.00 Scope of Work: This project will concentrate on the traffic control and walkability of the streetscape by providing enhancement improvements consisting of special sidewalk paving, ADA improvements, parking bump outs, traffic control devices, etc. at the intersections of Bilbo and Division St as well as Bilbo and Mill St -
W. Prien Lake Rd. Widening Cove Lane to Ihles Rd.
Cost Estimate: $22,250,000.00 Scope of Work: Prien Lake Rd. from Cove Ln. South to Ihles Rd. Sale Rd. from Prien Lake Rd. east to Rue Chann Ann Henderson Bayou Rd. from Prien Lake Rd. west to Indian Bay Dr. All will be reconstructed with enclosed ditches with a new underground drainage system. 2 new sanitary lift stations will be installed along with gravity sewer lines. Water lines will remain in place where possible, portions will be replaced. 10" thick reinforced concrete pavement with curb and gutter. -
Ihles Road Widening
Cost Estimate: $11,327,500.00 Scope of Work: Replacing an existing two lane asphalt concrete roadway with a four-lane concrete curb and gutter roadway. The existing open roadside ditches will be replaced by a subsurface drainage system. Other improvements such as City-owned utility relocations, sidewalks, etc. will be implemented in the scope of work for the project. Right of way acquisition for the relocation of utilities and roadway expansion is anticipated. -
4th Avenue Drainage Improvements - 6th Street to High School Park Lateral
Cost Estimate: $1,300,000.00 Scope of Work: Installation of new storm water drainage pipe and drainage basins along the East side of 4th avenue commencing at High School Park lateral (just south of 1st street) and terminating at the intersection with 6th street. This new system will replace the existing inadequate and faulty drainage system along this route. Work includes sidewalk, driveway, and selected areas of street repair. Sewer and water line adjustments are anticipated. -
6th Avenue Reconstruction - 3rd St. to 6th St.
Cost Estimate: $1,275,000.00 Scope of Work: 1. Construct a new 8" thick, 25-foot wide reinforced concrete pavement with integral curb and 6" compacted stone base. Replace and repair existing 4-foot wide plain concrete sidewalk on the east side of the street. Approximate project length is about 1300 in. The existing right of way of 6th Avenue is 60 foot wide and the existing pavement is concrete with a sidewalk on the east side. 2. Water: Replace the existing 6" cast iron water line with new 8" DR-18 AWWA C900 PVC water pipe including valves and fire hydrants as required. Tie into the existing water lines on 4th, 5th and 6th Streets. Tie the new 8" water line to meters with new service lines. The existing 6" water line is to be abandoned or removed. 3. Drainage: Install new underground drainage system that will extend the existing system at 3rd Street down to 6th Street. The existing drainage system on 6th Avenue will be removed and replaced with the new upgraded system. 4. Sewer: The existing 8" diameter lines will be reconstructed as required. -

The area north of St. Louis Catholic High School is experiencing slow drainage of storm water during rain events. This work is a full cleaning and CCTV investigation, structure inspections and rehabilitation recommendations of the subsurface drainage system. -
Enterprise Blvd. From 12th St. to Broad St.
Cost Estimate: $4,125,000 Scope of Work: This project will consist of a partial reconstruction and full overlay of Enterprise Blvd. from 12th Street to Broad Street. Occasional drainage improvements, new 8 inch water main, and new sewer manholes. -
Bank St. at 9th St. Drainage CCTV
Cost Estimate: $44,842.50 Scope of Work: The subject intersection is experiencing slow drainage of storm water during rain events. This work is a full cleaning and CCTV investigation, structure inspections and rehabilitation recommendations of the subsurface system. -
Ford at 6th Street Drainage CCTV
Cost estimate: $117,878 Scope of Work: The area north of St. Louis Catholic High School is experiencing slow drainage of storm water during rain events. This work is a full cleaning and CCTV investigation, structure inspections and rehabilitation recommendations of the subsurface drainage system. -
Civic Center Boardwalk Phase I
Cost estimate: $3,200,000 Scope of work: Installation of approximately 1000 linear feet of steel cantilever retaining wall including filter fabric, soil and stone backfill, demolition and drainage pipe installation along North Beach into the Lake in front o the Port Wonder site extending easterly to the east side of the existing parking garage. -
Sally Mae Drainage Improvement
Cost estimate: $489,985 Scope of work: Installing culverts in existing drainage ditches and performing an asphalt overlay. -
Esplanade Lift Station & Forcemain Improvement
Cost estimate: $1,210,000 Scope of work: Expand the wet well to handle additional peak flows to the station. Installation of a new 10 inch forcemain to discharge the proposed flow at an acceptable velocity. -
River Road Drainage & Paving Improvements
Cost estimate: $504,039 Scope of work: Installation of new drainage system and outfall pipe along with associated pavement and bulkhead work. -
Parking Garage Phase II
Cost Estimate: $2,500,000 Scope of work: This phase will include all work necessary to re-activate this existing structure to its "intended use" and to provide any enhancements needed to the Port Wonder project or other future uses of City-Owned properties to the east. -
1st Avenue Trail - North of Broad Street
Cost estimate: $304,140 Scope of Work: Installation of a walking trail from Broad Street to Winterhalter St. Trail will include amenities such as seating nodes with durable metal benches and nearby litter receptacles. -
Foster Street & Riverside Drive Drainage Improvement
